Description

Leveretts

Gather friends and family and get this huge Walberswick house to the top of your must-do list … it’s dressed to impress and positively teeming with ta-da moments!

Intro

Big, bold and absolutely fabulous… this coastal home commands attention for all the right reasons! A fashionable, almost-monotone palette complements the colour-washed brick and lap board exterior, contrasting beautifully with the breathtaking views across garden and countryside to the bay beyond. Every detail has been attended to here; visit soon and you’ll discover a Walberswick bolthole like no other.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Five dreamy bedrooms, four bathrooms and an additional cloakroom mean that even at full capacity, everyone’s assured of a comfortable stay. On the ground floor, a shower room is conveniently located for washing off sandy toes and suntan lotion – the beach is such a short walk away, you’re sure to be there often! Upstairs, two master bedrooms each feature a double bed and large en suite complete with walk-in shower. The first of these has a door onto the shared balcony that runs the length of the rear of the property, while the second has French doors with railings for views over the garden. Two further double-bedded rooms offer balcony access, as does the fifth room on this level, which has bunk beds with storage below. There’s a large family bathroom featuring a wc and a bath with over-bath shower, and a separate cloakroom completes the line-up of stylish conveniences… all have super-cool finishing touches that’ll make you want to linger.

Cooking and dining

Sophisticated urban styling is the essence of interiors success here – dark wooden floors, detail tiling and sturdy, substantial furnishings all give this gorgeous holiday home a real presence. You know you’re somewhere really special when you step into the kitchen, stunning for its Rangemaster double oven with five hob rings, wrap-around worktops and double butler’s sink, the room flooded with light and equipped with every cook’s essentials, including a microwave, Magimix coffee machine, blender, freestanding fridge-freezer and dishwasher. A large dresser and dining suite set the scene for companionable mealtimes in the dining room next door, and French doors lead from here onto the paved terrace where there’s a large teak table and chairs, perfect for food and drinks in the fresh air.

Outside

There’s private parking for two cars on the gated driveway to the front of the house, but it’s at the rear of the property that you’ll get a real sense of space – the grounds are stunning, vast and the sea views spectacular! The east-facing garden can be accessed through French doors from the lounge and dining room and there are great views of it, too, from the balcony that runs along the first floor bedrooms. Beautifully planted and landscaped to lead the eye over the fields to the bay beyond, it’s immaculately manicured and incorporates a number of areas in which you can soak up the sun.

Practicalities

Gas heating and a wood-burning stove in each of the two sitting rooms make this a cosy coastal bolthole all year round, while the balcony and big windows bring the outside in and flood the rooms with light. All the comfort and convenience of home is here, including a washing machine, tumble dryer and two separate hallways with ample storage for coats, boots and beach accessories. If you’re holidaying with children just let us know when you book whether you’d like us to supply a highchair and travel cot. And, of course, you’ll find plenty of entertainment for all the family courtesy of WiFi throughout the house, plus a TV with Sky.
