Welcome to the ‘wow factor’ – spacious, contemporary and full of thought for guests’ comfort and convenience, this holiday home has star quality and then some! Experience open plan living on a grand scale coupled with an attention to detail that even extends to individual heating thermostats for each room and endless hot water on tap thanks to the property’s own supplementary solar power system. Sleeping six in the height of luxury, this lovely Walberswick residence is evidence, indeed, that ‘high-tech’ and ‘homely’ can work in harmony.
Bedrooms and bathrooms
Three good-sized rooms on the first floor each have en suite facilities. In the master bedroom there’s a king-size bed, masses of storage space and an en suite that includes a bath and separate shower cubicle. Two further bedrooms each have walk-in wardrobes and en suite shower rooms – one has twin beds and the other a king-sized bed – and every bedroom here is equipped with a TV and hairdryer. For additional convenience there’s a cloakroom just off the entrance hallway at ground level too.
Cooking and dining
Part of a vast open plan living area on the ground floor, the glossy, bright kitchen here is the stuff of every cook’s dreams… the equipment includes an American-style fridge with separate freezer, twin electric ovens and electric hob, DAB radio, wall-mounted TV, microwave, dishwasher and a superb island unit with breakfast bar. The kitchen opens into the high-ceilinged dining area where a glass table and seats for eight take pride of place, while double French doors lead out to the garden where there’s a patio area ideal for barbecues – don’t forget the charcoal! – and feasts in the fresh air.
Reflecting the size of the property, the driveway here has space to park three to four cars and TroyTwo also boasts lockable outdoor storage for bicycles, prams, pushchairs and other holiday essentials. In the rear garden the patio area is equipped with outdoor seating and two recliners.
Polished oak wood flooring remains comfortable all year round thanks to underfloor heating controlled with individual thermostats in each room. A woodburner complements the heating system on the ground floor and a starter pack of logs, kindling and firelighters will be supplied for winter guests. Solar panels on the roof supplement the hot water when needed, and a laundry room on the first floor caters for any clothes washing or drying requirements. For those who’d like to stay in touch with the outside world free WiFi is provided, there’s a Smart TV, Blue Ray and DVD players for entertainment and, for some good old-fashioned family fun, a range of books and games are supplied too. New for 2019, complimentary baby-friendly facilities include a high chair, baby bath, changing mat and travel cot…that’ll reduce the amount of clutter in your car! Lockable bike storage too (bikes not provided). Bed linen and towels are provided, but guests are reminded to bring their own towels for the beach.
What a fabulous property to fully unwind and in a greta location. We love it here an can recommend the Two Magpies cafe in Darsham and The Anchor in Walberswick. A very relaxing stay and we would love to return. Thank you

We love Walberswick, we loved Troy Two. Huge open-plan house, multiple TVs which our teens were pleased about, kitchen was well equipped and ultra modern. There was so much space for everyone and the patio area in the garden was a bit of a suntrap, so wonderful to relax in. Thank you team!

TroyTwo was an outstanding property. It was very well equipped and very clean. The house is very light and airy, giving a wonderful feeling of space. The cake and teabags were much appreciated when we arrived. The folders explaining how everything worked and information about the local area were very comprehensive. I would definitely recommend this house as a place to stay.

Well we said we would be back and we were! Good stay again, I think its even better in the Summer. Lots of walks from the doorstep, plus Covehithe and Aldeburgh days out. Chilli crab linguine at The Anchor- sublime!
