Bold, bright, and in one of the county’s most-coveted locations, Blauhaus could well be one of Walberswick’s best-kept secrets… tucked away on a quiet residential close, its interiors are big on impact and brimming over with a sense of fun. Gather family or friends and get here soon to see why this beautiful contemporary home comes so highly recommended!

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Style and substance take equal precedence on the first floor, where the four bedrooms and two bathrooms all demonstrate the owners’ dedication to offering high-end comfort complemented by playful splashes of colour. In the master bedroom you’ll find a super-king-size bed and built-in wardrobe, plus a cheerfully-bright and spacious en suite shower room. Built-in wardrobes are in two further bedrooms – one with twin beds, the other with a king-size bed – while the fourth room on this floor offers a double bed. There’s an ultra-modern family bathroom on the first floor and a cloakroom on the ground floor for additional convenience… and in the downstairs study you’ll find a sofa bed suitable for an additional one or two children.

Cooking and dining

Separated from the sitting room by large glass doors – leave them open if you’re keen to keep all the gang together! – the open plan kitchen/diner here is full of wow-factor touches including a colourful Rangemaster cooker with five-ring induction hob, white glossy worktops and a butler-style sink. A sturdy dining table and contrasting chairs sit before bi-folding doors that open onto the large garden, where you’ll find a patio area with further dining furniture.

The large south-facing garden is an ideal space for unwinding outdoors – with patio, dining suite, large lawn, trampoline and outdoor table tennis table it’s perfect for friendly competitions and companionable feasts in the fresh air. A shop, pub and deli are all a short stroll away if you want to wander further afield… with Walberswick’s heath, beach and marshland so close by, it would be a shame not to!

Keeping the emphasis on fun and not chores, this well-presented holiday house comes complete with dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer to take care of all those inevitable home-from-home needs, plus gas central heating and – for increased cosiness on winter nights – a woodburner. Towels and bed linen are supplied so you’ll only need to bring extra if you intend to use the sofabed in the study, and one well-behaved pet is welcome here too. There’s private parking for two cars also.

A really beautiful, well equipped holiday home in a great location and finished to a very high standard. We had a fabulous 3-generations plus dog holiday in October. Large open rooms enabled everyone to be together but not contained. Perfect!

Mr Simon D,

Blauhaus is the perfect property for family get together. It is stylish and comfortable for the adults and fun for the children. Moreover, the location is very convenient

Mrs C E,

It has been a brilliant week in this lovely welcoming house. We have been blessed with good weather, the children loved the trampoline, the table tennis, and all that this great area can offer - crabbing, cycling, flying a kite on the playing field. Lovely walks to Southwold and Dunwich on the Suffolk Coastal Path, bird watching. Also, we really appreciated the cooking equipment. So nice to be able to bake cakes on holiday.

Previous Customer,

We loved Blauhuas. So comfortable and well situated. Kids loved the trampoline. We can highly recommend The Bell for dinner too.

A lovely stay and the house worked great for our family get together. Very comfortable and when the sun got out we enjoyed the secluded garden. Thank you.

What a wonderful find in beautiful Walberswick! The house was so spacious and lovely. It was sparkling clean and had everything we needed. In particular the beds were super comfy. Thanks for having us and for the greetings hamper too. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Mrs Margaret H,

We had a wonderful time here. The house was very clean and decorated to a great standard. Although it rained 70% of our time, Walberswick is a true gem in the Suffolk Area. Thanks for having us!

Wickendens, Fountains, C,

We have had a very comfortable stay in your house. The house has been lovely and warm which was great because the weather has not been! Walks around Walberswick, a visit to Minsmere, lunch at The Bell. The kids loved the trampoline. We all loved the welcome pack. Thank you very much. And, we heard a nightingale!
