Combine a pretty, quiet location with home-from-home charm and high-quality features, add a secluded south-facing garden and you have the perfect place for a happy holiday… if all that sounds right up your street, then be sure to consider White Cottage for your next Southwold stay!

Bedrooms and bathrooms

You’ll find three bedrooms on the first floor – one with a double bed, the others each with a singe – all with pretty coastal references and furnished for peaceful slumbers. The family bathroom features both a bath and a separate cubicle complete with ‘rainhead’ shower.

Cooking and dining

Nothing says ‘cottage’ more than a hand-built kitchen, and the one here is, quite simply, lovely. White cabinets, wooden worktops and a painted dresser complement the all-essential gas cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer, and there’s space to sit and snack in here, while the separate dining room is home to a table and chairs for four too. If you’d prefer to enjoy food and refreshments in the fresh air, there’s another table and accompanying seating in the sunny courtyard garden.

Southwold’s famous South Green and Common are both a short stroll from the front door here, but for a breath of fresh air away from the crowd, the secluded, south-facing garden is second-to-none. Planted in pretty cottage style, it comes complete with outdoor furniture and is a lovely sunny spot in which to unwind.

WiFi and gas heating will keep you connected and comfortable, while the TV, DVD, CD and Sonos sound system offer entertainment for time spent at home. Roadside parking is available close by and the pubs, shops and restaurants in the town centre are just moments away.
