Description
Intro
Feed all your senses at this hassle-free holiday home. Close to both seafront and town centre, it has its own pretty walled garden and is perfect for a couple looking to savour coastal life with all the home comforts.
Bedrooms and bathrooms
A ground floor bathroom features white furniture and light-coloured tiles and comes complete with an over-bath shower, while upstairs an en suite shower room adds to the convenience of your holiday stay. The bedroom is at the rear of the property and enjoys garden views – let us know whether you’d like the zip-and-link beds made up as two singles or a double and there’s space for a cot to be added for a small additional charge also.
Cooking and dining
A cream-coloured kitchen takes all the hassle out of your self-catering holiday – here you’ll enjoy all the home-from-home necessities including a gas cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and freezer, plus garden views. Dine in traditional style before a sash window with street views leading out to sea, pausing to appreciate the vintage cocktail cabinet that is sure to whet your appetite for pre-dinner tipples or, perhaps, post-prandial sundowners… the choice is yours! You’ll find a pretty bistro-style table and seats in the private walled garden to the rear of the property too.
Outside
The landmark Lighthouse and warmly-welcoming Sole Bay Inn are only the shortest of strolls from your doorstep, while just one street away is the seafront and its leg-stretching promenade. For a private slice of seaside life, retreat to the pretty walled garden that’s to the rear of your holiday home – complete with outdoor furniture and seasonal planting, it’s reached via French doors from the sitting room.
Practicalities
WiFi and a TV with Freeview and a DVD player will provide entertainment for a night in, while all Southwold’s friendly inns, eateries and entertainment venues are within easy walking distance. On-street parking is available close by, and we can supply a cot and highchair for a small additional fee if you’re holidaying with youngsters.
