A seafront landmark for many years, The Craighurst has had a colourful past, serving time as both a 'crammer' - George Orwell studied (and was expelled from!) here - and a hotel. But whilst the skillfully-created holiday home that is No 10 pays some heed to the building's history, today it's full of up-to-the-minute technology plus fashion-forward furnishings which set the scene for a break that's indulgent and immersed in luxury.

Bedrooms and bathrooms
A super-king size bed dressed with the highest-quality threadcount linen steals the show in the master bedroom. Decorated in calming hues and with shuttered windows, it's a swoon-inducing, dreamy sanctuary. In the second - also shuttered - bedroom striking Ralph Lauren wallpaper and funky bunk beds add to the style credentials. Fired Earth tiles and a clean navy-and-white colour scheme add a touch of luxury to the bathroom.

Cooking and dining
Generously proportioned and gorgeously furnished, the kitchen at No 10 vies with an adjacent and equally lavish sitting room for the vote as guests' favourite. There's copious cupboard and counter space, every chef's essential, and a fabulous extendable table with comfortable dining chairs. With garden views to the rear and sea views through the sitting room, this is a fantastic family kitchen for both foodies and fashionistas.

No 10 is accessed through a prettily planted, paved garden to the rear of The Craighurst, and there's roadside parking close by.

Just a stroll from the pier, No 10 is perfectly positioned for guests to enjoy a bucket-and-spade break. For indoor entertainment, there's a flatscreen TV, DVD player in the lounge, and unlimited Wi-Fi.

Great location, very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed.
