Description
Intro
Schedule some together-time for family or friends in a location that combines the best of both coast and countryside. Crowd-free Reydon is one of the region’s best-kept secrets – stay at this lovely cottage and you can learn what makes it so special.
Bedrooms and bathrooms
A cosy ground-floor bedroom comes complete with front garden views, dressing room and an en suite shower room – first-class for those who’d prefer not to deal with going up and down stairs. Above, the first floor landing features a study area with desk, built-in wardrobe and chest of drawers, while the creamy-coloured main bedroom has a double bed and lots of natural light. Beyond the study, the family bathroom has a bath with shower attachment and modern white fittings.
Cooking and dining
Step through the front door and you’re straight into a welcoming open plan living area flooded with light and full of warmth thanks to a collection of comfortable seating choices. Every home-from-home essential is available within the kitchen area, where you’ll find an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Overlooking the front garden, space in the dining area is optimised thanks to a foldaway table and chairs set, and there’s further provision for home-made mealtimes within the patio areas outside.
Outside
An attractive garden with two patios and plenty of furniture will tempt you outdoors, while a drying room with changing facilities is the perfect place to store bicycles and walking boots if you’d like to bring some with you.
Practicalities
If you have a dog, do bring him (or her) with you – this place is perfect for long walks to the coast or through the countryside and, aside from the convenient boot and drying room, there’s an outside tap where you can rinse off muddy paws with ease. Gas central heating will keep every guest cosy while a Smart TV, DVD player, CD player and radio provide entertainment at the end of a busy day – or leave the car in one of your two off-street parking spaces and enjoy a warm welcome in the great local pub that’s about half a mile away!
